There may be situation where you are unable to drop-off the delivery item at the designated drop-off location due to the following reasons:-
- The receiver is not contactable
- No alternative receiver as the location is isolated
- No willing alternative receiver (i.e. security guard/ receptionist refuse to receive on behalf)
- Receiver refused to accept due to a "No gift policy"
- Address is wrong
You are required to perform the following steps when you encounter such situation:-
- Contact the Poster and follow their instructions
- Report the job to GoGet via the App to alert GoGet Admin and select "Poster requested to return the item to pick up" or "I travelled extra distance because poster changed the drop off location"
- Update the status of the job by selecting "Unable to Deliver" (see photo below)
- We will contact the poster for reimbursement where necessary
