Terms and Conditions

The GoGet Poster Referral Program (“The Program”) allows registered GoGet users (a “GoGet User”) to receive promotional GoGet Credits (“Referral Program”) to provide users with incentives to refer friends, family, business partners and community members to become new users of the GoGet platform.

To participate, GoGet Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the GoGet Terms of Service. Capitalised terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the GoGet Terms of Service.

A “Referee” is a user that (i) signs up for the GoGet platform, (ii) is a first-time user of the GoGet platform, (iii) enters a referrer’s code and completes a job with the referral code or buys a GoGet Business credit plan for the first time, (iv) has not been previously referred by another user, and (v) is not the same individual as the Referrer and must be able to verify identity via supporting documents such as a government-issued identity card, recent photo and other documents that may be requested if deemed necessary by GoGet administration.

A “Referrer” is a referring user that (i) uses the GoGet Platform Referral Program code to refer Qualified Referral(s), (ii) has a verified phone number attached to the GoGet account, and (iii) is not the same individual as the Referee and must be able to verify identity via supporting documents such as a government-issued identity card, recent photo and other documents that may be requested if deemed necessary by GoGet administration.

A Referee is allowed to utilise only one unique referral code. Multiple referral codes are strictly not allowed to be utilised under a single account.

How Users can receive Referral Benefits

A Referrer can receive referral benefits in the form of GoGet Credits if all of the conditions are met (as defined below in Table A and B): (i) a Referee clicks on their referral link and/or successfully inserts the Referral code to create a valid GoGet account that complies with our Terms of Service; and (ii) the Referee completes a Qualifying Job and/or purchases a Qualifying Business Credit Plan for the first time. Please note that both (i) and (ii) conditions must be successfully met in order for the Referrer to receive referral benefits.

A Referee can receive referral benefits in the form of promo code and GoGet Credits depending on one or all of the following conditions (as defined below in Table A and B): (i) the Referee clicks on their referral link and/or successfully inserts the Referral code to create a valid GoGet account that complies with our Terms of Service; and (ii) the Referee completes a Qualifying Job and/or purchases a Qualifying Business Credit Plan for the first time. 

There are two types of benefits under the Referral Program: (i) promo codes are discounts off a final job fee, (ii) GoGet credits are credits to be used as a payment method on a job. Users on GoGet platform are entirely responsible for ensuring that the promo code is inserted and claimed on a particular job in order for the benefit to be used, and/or the payment method is selected as GoGet credits upon posting in order for the benefit to be used.

Qualifying Jobs or Qualifying Purchase of Business Plans

A Qualifying Job must be of legitimate purpose, booked, paid for via the GoGet platform and completed. If the job is not completed, this is not a qualifying job, and there will be no referral benefits issued. To find out more about your job request status, please click on “My Job” on the platform. If the GoGet administration has any reason to suspect fraudulent job postings and completion, the GoGet administration has the entire authority to ban and remove the user accounts involved in the activity. All benefits from The Program will be voided. Please refer to our Fraudulent Activity article for more information and the Fraudulent Referral paragraph in this article.

A Qualifying Purchase of GoGet Business Plan must be paid for via the GoGet platform, be a Business Plan offered on the GoGet platform, must be only of the RM165, RM330 and RM1100 value. If the specified plan was not purchased successfully, this is not a qualifying purchase, and there will be no referral benefits issued.

There will be no appeal system to The Program and GoGet Administration has final authority of any benefits issued.

Redeeming GoGet Credits

GoGet Credits may only be redeemed via the GoGet Platform. Once received, GoGet credits will appear under the payment icon, which allows the users to choose to pay using either cash, GoGet credits or bank transfer (bank transfer is only applicable for shopping jobs). The GoGet user must select GoGet credits as the form of payment in order to utilise the GoGet credits. If the GoGet user selects cash or bank transfer, the GoGet Credits will not be used. GoGet Credits are coupons issued for promotional purposes; they have no cash value and may not be transferred or exchanged and/or refunded for cash. GoGet credits can only be used to pay for job fees under GoGet platform and cannot be used for other payments such as Cost of Goods Sold.

GoGet credits expiration under this Program is as follows, i) 12 months from the last date you purchased a credit package or last date you received compensation via credit top-up, ii) 12 months from your last completed job. Whichever of the above two has a longer expiration date.

GoGet Credits may not be received by creating multiple GoGet Accounts. GoGet Credits accrued in separate GoGet accounts may not be combined into one GoGet account. This clause is only pertaining to GoGet Credits under this Program, and transfer of credits between accounts is strictly not allowed.

If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of GoGet Credits, please contact us via the Help and Support section in the platform. GoGet may require you to submit additional information; e.g. additional supporting documents, information, identification verification, and any other information via phone call, email, meetings, and any form of communication issued by GoGet, in order to make a determination regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at GoGet’s sole discretion.

You are responsible for any tax consequences if any, that may result from your redemption or use of GoGet Credits. Where applicable, GoGet may be required to account for Sales and Service Tax (“SST”) on any services for which the GoGet Credits are redeemed.

Referees Promo Code Benefit

Referees who have signed up using a valid referral link may also receive a promo code in the amount(s) indicated in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials that can be used on their next Qualifying Job. GoGet promo code that is not automatically applied must be entered during job posting.

GoGet promo codes may not be transferred to another person, exchanged and/or refunded for cash, or combined with other GoGet referral programs or incentives. Each GoGet promo code may only be used on www.GoGet.my in conjunction with the booking of a single Job Posting indicated in the referral invitation, accompanying promotional materials, GoGet website, or GoGet mobile application for that type of Job Posting.

GoGet promo code may expire according to the information shown in the GoGet platform. GoGet reserves the right to any remedy, including cancellation of your account, booking and/or purchase if fraud, tampering, violations of these terms or GoGet’s Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service, or technical errors are suspected. Void where prohibited. If your reservation later qualifies for a refund, the maximum refund you may receive is the amount you actually paid.

Refund Policy

Under no circumstances will there be cash refunds/ exchange/ credit transfers on GoGet Referral Program credits. Should there be extenuating circumstances, GoGet reserves the right to review refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Sharing Referral Links

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Referral links should not be published or distributed on commercial websites (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia). Members are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. This includes mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral link. Members are prohibited from paying to advertise their referral links.

Multiple Referrals

A Referee may only use one referral link. If a Referee receives referral links from multiple Referrers, only the Referrer associated with the referral code actually used by the Referee will receive the GoGet Credits. The Program cannot be combined with other GoGet referral programs or incentives.

Referrers must respect the spirit of the Program by only referring to real individuals who meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. Referrers cannot refer to themselves. For example, a Referrer may not create multiple or fake accounts with GoGet or participate in the Program using multiple or fake email addresses or identities.

If you breach the terms of this Agreement, we reserve to immediately suspend or terminate the right for you to access the platform on a temporary or permanent basis including suspending or terminating your GoGet Account at any time which will result in your inability to use the platform.

Severability

If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Termination and Changes

GoGet may suspend or terminate the Program or a user’s ability to participate in it at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove the GoGet Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the GoGet Terms of Service or Payments Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming GoGet Credits can change at any time.

GoGet has the sole and complete right to determine if a transaction is fraudulent on any discrepancies and evidence found that can support our claim on our own accord with or without additional data from either the Referrer or Referee.

GoGet will also terminate the said account permanently on all our platforms, and all services will also be blocked. Appeals can be made to support any claims made against the party involved, but GoGet will have the full discretion to reject any appeals without an explanation provided. Full cooperation to GoGet from the involved Referrer and Referee is needed for the investigation if required.

Fraudulent Referral

Referrals and jobs should not be pre-arranged between Referrers and Referees. In certain circumstances, this can be considered collusion. Collusion is an agreement between two or more people to limit open competition by deceiving, misleading, or defrauding others (in this case GoGet) to obtain an objective forbidden by law typically by defrauding or gaining an unfair market advantage. The purpose of fraud may be monetary gain or other benefits, such as pre-arranging a referral when the Referee has no other purpose than to assist the Referrer getting rewarded by GoGet and when they have no intention of using GoGet for any other normal business transactions. Fraud is a deliberate deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain.

If your transaction happens to be offline and we have no record of it, it is almost impossible for us to assist you. Keep your account secure, be cautious of strange links in messages from other users, even ones you know, as their accounts may have been compromised. If you suspect that you have received a “phishing” message, immediately report it to GoGet and end communication with the sender. We also recommend you to take advantage and other features we’ve made with your safety and trust in mind.
