GoGet doesn’t allow jobs to be pre-arranged between Job Posters and GoGetters with the intention to deceive, mislead or defraud. These activities can be considered as collusion where two or more parties came into an agreement with the intention to deceive, mislead or defraud others (in this case, GoGet) to gain an unfair market advantage. GoGet defines fraudulent activities when an individual or entity tries to gain monetary value or other benefits by deliberate deception. Example: pre-arranging a job when the Job Poster has no other purpose than to assist the GoGetter getting paid by GoGet AND when they have no intention to pay the job fee. Note: The example above is merely an example and fraudulent activities can be in many forms.
Examples of fraudulent jobs are as follows:
- Requesting, accepting and completing jobs of the same device/payment profile
- Excessive cancellations
- Excessive referral jobs
- Buying GoGet Credits with false credit card information
- Completing and receiving payment for a job when the job was not actually executed in reality
- Failing to legitimately pay for service rendered through the platform
We do not condone any transactions and communication to be done outside our app. If these happen offline and GoGet has no record of it, it will be difficult for us to provide any assistance. GoGetters need to be careful if a Job Poster messages you outside of the GoGet platform and asks you to contact them offline to book a job. GoGetters need to ensure any pre-arrange jobs made by a Job Poster needs to be done in-app only (i.e. only through GoGet platform technology features) to avoid Job Posters that have other intentions such as using fake Poster accounts or stolen credit card details and more. GoGet may have to adjust the job fee to zero and take action against the GoGetter and Job Poster if both parties take part in any fraudulent pre-arranged jobs.
We acknowledge that GoGetter might not be complicit and not aware they might be involved in fraudulent jobs. We constantly inform and educate our GoGetter always to be aware and alert us if they encounter any suspicious jobs. We do not want GoGetter to be exposed to any risk that can cause them to be vulnerable to these sorts of activities.
Always keep your account secure and be aware of any suspicious links in messages given by other users, even the one that you know. Their accounts might have been jeopardized. Be wary of any form of “odd” job postings, suspicious messages, lack of clear job details and if you suspect that you received a job that may be fraudulent, please immediately report to GoGet and do not continue any form of communication with the sender. Ignorance to GoGet safety policies, community guidelines, quality management system, all communications issued by GoGet, content from GoGetter trainings and any articles on the Help and Support section is not acceptable reasons for any investigation regarding fraudulent activities.
Please be informed to always refer to GoGet Safety Policies and other features we’ve made with your trust and safety in mind.
