Senang Insurance needs 5 working days from the date of submission of complete documents to finalise the offer. This timeline is valid for claims below RM1,000.00. Claims above RM1,000.00 would be dealt with on case-to-case basis.
You will be informed within 1 working day whether your claim has been approved.
Example:
You submitted your claims to Senang Insurance on Tuesday 5 May 2020 via the portal. You will get your claim status update on Wednesday 6 May 2020 (or latest on Thursday 7 May 2020). Refer to the list of complete document submission here.
- If your claim is not approved, you will receive an official email from Senang Insurance with the reason provided. If requested, you will also receive an official e-mail from the insurance company.
- If your claim is approved, you will receive an official e-mail from Senang Insurance. You will then be notified of the next steps for the claim amount to be transferred into your bank account. On Friday 8 May 2020, you submit the e-payment form to Senang. On Friday 15 May 2020, the online transfer slip will be sent directly to you by Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad. (The usual duration for the claim amount to be paid is 5 working days from the date of submission of e-payment form).
