Your safety and well-being are important to us. We are pleased to announce that GoGet is officially integrating with PERKESO's Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SKSPS) under LINDUNG KENDIRI.
This protection is provided in line with the Akta Pekerja Gig 2025 (Akta 872), which requires Malaysian gig workers to be covered under PERKESO's social security scheme. The scheme provides financial and medical protection if you suffer an injury, accident, disability, or work-related illness while carrying out jobs through the GoGet platform.
How does it work?
We have made the process simple and hassle-free.
GoGet will automatically register eligible GoGetters with PERKESO on your behalf. There is no need to submit any forms, visit a PERKESO office, or take any additional action.
Once registered, GoGet will automatically deduct 1.25% from the base pay of each completed job and set it aside in your wallet towards your annual PERKESO contribution. Please note that this deduction only applies to your base job fee and does not include incentives, bonuses, or tips.
These small contributions will accumulate until they reach the annual contribution amount required for PERKESO Plan 1, which is the default protection plan under the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SKSPS). Plan 1 requires a yearly contribution of RM157.20 (approximately RM13.10 per month). While there are four contribution plans available under SKSPS, GoGet will currently register eligible GoGetters under Plan 1 by default. If you wish to change your contribution plan, you may do so through the PRIHATIN app by PERKESO.

Transition from Senang Insurance-on-Demand & Chubbs Group Insurance
As part of our efforts to align Malaysian workers protection with PERKESO, the Senang Insurance-on-Demand and Chubbs group insurance features will be discontinued.
While new purchases are no longer available, any active Senang Insurance policies that were purchased before the discontinuation date will remain valid until the end of their respective coverage periods, provided you start your job before 30 June 2026.
We remain committed to providing meaningful protection and support for our GoGetter community. Thank you for being part of GoGet, and we look forward to continuing to support you every step of the way.
