Interested in taking on more Food & Beverage (F&B) jobs on GoGet?

Some F&B jobs require you to have a valid Typhoid vaccination, Food Handling Certificate, or both before you can take the job.

F&B jobs are jobs that involve the handling or management of food, such as:

• Service Crew

• What proof do I need to show I have a valid typhoid injection?
  You will be given a Typhoid injection card with your details, and the clinic’s stamp, and the expiration date. 

• How do I upload my Typhoid vaccination proof?

In the GoGet app, go to:

Account → My Account → Profile → Proof of Typhoid Vaccination + Expiration Date

Upload a clear copy of your vaccination card and enter the correct expiration date.

Important: If your Typhoid vaccination has expired, you will need to get vaccinated again. Your vaccination must be verified before you can access jobs that require Typhoid verification.


📜 Food Handling Certificate

• What is Food Handling Certificate?

A Food Handling Certificate (Sijil Pengendali Makanan) is obtained after completing a certified food handling course approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH). The course teaches the basics and SOPs of food handling.

• How long is it valid?
  Lifetime — no expiry date

• How do I get it?
  Attend a 3-hour certified online or offline course

• Estimated cost:
  RM50

• Where can I register?

• When will I receive the certificate?
  Usually within 1–2 days after completing the course

• What proof do I need?
  Official digital certificate showing MOH accreditation

If you have lost your Food Handling Certificate, you will need to obtain a digital copy before GoGet can verify that you have completed the course.

Important: Your Food Handling Certificate must be verified before you can access jobs that require Food Handling verification.

4. I lost my Food Handling Certificate. Can I still get verified?

No. GoGet needs a digital copy of your certificate to verify that you have completed the required course.
